Introduction
A Plain Language Thought from the Window
The 'Secret Place' pages are written to honor a friend. To that person and whomever else happens this way ... this is for you too!
Scripture speaks of a secret place where we can go, be alone, be protected, pray, and hear from the Lord.
Ps 27:5 For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. (NKJV)
Knowing such a place is a matter of faith. Going back time and again, is part of building a relationship. You need not have an advanced degree, need not have memorized Scripture from beginning to end, but be aware the the God of Israel has a place for each Jew and Gentile who will open their minds and hearts to Him.
Mt 6:6 “But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. (NKJV)
Truth is visited in this secret place and must be shared by those who will live or else ... will perish ... in darkness. It is written ...
Lu 11:33 “No one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a secret place or under a basket, but on a lampstand, that those who come in may see the light. (NKJV)
Come out of the secret place bearing light!
Put what is found in secret to use to generate a brightness, as a beacon, for those who see it from near or afar. The Secret Place, charges one's spirit, kindles a light, defines understanding, humility, gives a focal point, to be shared with those all around.
The topics we have chosen (see menu on left), are handled from a whole-biblical-Messianic perspective; they address both Jew and Gentile together—because that is what the Bible does. This opens the window to the sense of what Scripture tells us!
The 'secret place' is plain language consideration off some fundamental issues and topics, for something simple to read yet to highlight matters of importance. This is a mere starting place for deeper consideration.
