Part Three Noted Resources: Daniel Guide - Revelation Guide - Footsteps
Greetings, and welcome to the Timeline within WindowView.
This is the first of a series of introductory videos.
This is part one which illustrates how to navigate the timeline pages.
Part two focuses on the purpose and illustrates a significant concept, making this timeline unique and important to identify humanity's present-day status and what the future brings.
Part three notes a few scientific perspectives and then addresses biblical foresight to a chronology that is a specific series of future events that are yet to come.
This part ends with recommendations for some helpful references to study.
These perspectives flow through the window for you to see, to think about, and to comprehend what the future is destined to bring.
First, here is some help on navigating through timeline pages.
The Timeline Introduction web page is a starting point that includes the main menu bar which appears on all the timeline pages.
This area also includes additional information covered in the introductory overview and thesis pages.
For example, here is the initial timeline page that starts with Eternity Past.
Click on the Intro Menu button and you will see the drop-down menu with introductory page links and several informational tables listed.
You can then use any of the other drop-down menus to move into any area of the timeline from beginning to end.
When moving through time, you will see buttons that link to articles and related information.
Some pages are part of what is a timeline notebook.
Some buttons link to historical overview articles and here is one that relates, for example, to Moses and his historical experience that ties into scripture.
Some buttons link to climate or global change topics.
For example, a significant group of scientists back in 1992 provided a warning about change.
This relates to human activities and consequences to Earth's environment and habitability.
Click on this button and you will see the entire warning.
Keep moving forward and with an eye on topics that relate to both science and faith and you will see additional buttons linked to a variety of related articles.
One added note, there are tables set up to outline biblical information including Table 2 covers the biblical covenants.
Table 3 relates Messiah to the Jewish high holy days and this has ties to the windows content in the Harmony area.
Table 4 that includes science perspectives in relation to creation.
This is how to navigate through timeline pages.
To fully appreciate why this timeline is unique you have to open the window further by watching the intro part 2 and part 3.
Windowview.org provides a view to multiple perspectives including science, change, harmony, time, and then a convergence of multiple lines of sight.
The window opens to a big picture on what life really is and reveals why we all have an opportunity to make a vital decision about our life now and for the future.
You are alive, so now is the time to look through your window.
The timeline directs attention to human history with an emphasis on science and faith perspectives.
WindowView also draws attention to the fact that our lives have not come about by chance and most recent scientific evidence indicates nature is a reflection of design and therefore a product of intelligence.
Design requires a mind and recognizing the ultimate source of intelligence leads to recognize the origin of life.
If you visit the WindowView science area there are topics that relate to intelligent design and further why chemicals simply do not evolve into life forms by random process.
We are the product of information and not simply chemicals.
The timeline pages illustrate on one side the progress humanity makes with technology, scientific research, and historical advancements that build data and knowledge specific to our existence.
On the other side of the timeline pages ultimately this relates to the harmony area and is something more cultural, religious and ultimately points forward to what scripture tells us and that comes with a focus on a chosen people in a designated land and this is the geographical platform or theatrical stage for future events thus Israel the Jewish people and the Messiah.
These all come into view.
Today we have arrived at an interface, a place where different perspectives join together.
This is where science meets scripture.
To illustrate this interface let's take a simplified conceptual approach regarding human awareness to scientific information and how that changes over time and likewise a corresponding rise in theological awareness thus growing in understanding what is in the biblical context.
When science data meets scriptural evidence, the time is right for the final era of time leading to the return of the Messiah.
You may not recognize this at first, but that is why there is a science area, the harmony area, plus a timeline to view within the window.
Conceptually, humanity has progressed slowly in many scientific areas over the ages.
Notice on this graphic, S1 to S2 reflects a long term gradual rise in scientific awareness.
The asterisk is positioned at a point in time like when Charles Darwin proposed a theory of biological evolution.
Humanity wanted to understand the origin of life.
Darwin proposed that we are here by randomness and chance.
But next comes a rapid upswing in information and awareness accelerated by the gathering of scientific data and evidence that reveals life forms are highly complex, based on highly specified information.
Furthermore, the universe is linked to fine-tuning, and overall life's unique characteristics relate to design, not chance.
Next is a look at a theological perspective, conceptually and scripturally.
Starting at T1, Moses contributed to the Hebrew scriptures, and T2 is a step up when the biblical text was expanded in Greek texts recorded by Jewish persons.
The asterisk notes a time when a person like Galileo gathers scientific information to refine and understand some of what the Bible is saying.
And T3 depicts when the Hebrew, Greek and biblical texts in Latin were broadly translated into other languages, so humanity as a whole could read and learn what the Bible says.
And that accelerates understanding to a high point in the present time.
The mutual upswing in awareness brings humanity to the interface where science meets scripture, and this makes for a most unique time for all who live on earth to see why we are alive, and the key decision we all have to consider to make.
This leads to then anticipate what is to come in the future.
View part 3 and take a look further into the future.
Welcome!
The timeline illustrates past, present, and then provides an outline for what is to come in the future, and examples of helpful resources that provide more detailed information will be described at the end of this video.
From the earlier portions of scripture there are multiple references to creation, to the establishment of Israel, and to the identity of the Messiah.
Reading through the timeline pages comes to the arrival of the Jewish Messiah, and this exact arrival time was indicated early in the writings of the prophet Daniel.
Following the presence of the Messiah, writings recorded by the Apostle John describe seven churches that also appear related to a sequence of seven distinct periods of time that have led up to the last church age, and that is now, in the present time.
Elsewhere in scripture is a description of the dispersion of the Jewish people, then, later, a return to the land, Israel, which in fact was the land promised long ago to Abraham.
And while these pages focus on what the biblical text includes, keep an eye on the left side and monitor concurrent progress humanity makes in the sciences and other secular events on earth.
And with regard to change on earth, many people deny and ignore warnings, but today change has serious impacts on all people all around the world.
Change will keep grinding away at civilization up to, and including the end times, that is, the end of the current era of time before Messiah returns.
On the right side of the timeline you will be able to observe entries about worldwide events including Israel and the Middle East.
Eventually you will move to the latter portion of the timeline that presents a chronology of future events that the biblical text explains.
A series of events and related topics really deserve additional study, and there are resources to consider including several books that help to explain what the Bible is projecting by way of prophecy, and thus what you might expect for what is coming soon to the end of this era of modern time.
The first recommendation, especially for anyone who has never been on a deep dive into the biblical text, is the Non-Prophet's Guide to the Book of Daniel.
This leads to another helpful book that again is easy to read, but in a way is closely linked to what Daniel wrote.
This is the book Non-Prophet's Guide to the Book of Revelation.
These two books are written and illustrated with helpful graphics by Todd Hampson.
These explanations are highly relevant, especially when you see how humanity as a whole is not working toward mutual peace, nor effective stewardship and care for our planet, nor a true collaboration and unity by all peoples around the globe.
Stress, war, conflict and chaos seem to exist with no means to an end in sight.
Just read or watch the news, open your eyes and look out the window, and what Daniel and John wrote long ago actually makes sense today.
Another book that is more detailed and an excellent resource that covers all the topics and more in the first two books just mentioned, then read Dr. Fruchtenbaum's Footsteps of the Messiah, and this is a study of the sequence of prophetic events yet to come.
One thing you might need to know about is what is called the Rapture.
This event is explained in the resources just mentioned.
People who have gained a true relationship with the God of Israel and followed the teachings of Messiah will be taken up by the Rapture.
And read more about the details of this event.
As incredible as this event may seem, now is the time to study what this is.
However, if the Rapture event has taken place and you are alive and remain on Earth, you might need to find another book, such as After the Rapture.
The point being that if all this is truthful about time and human history, then the Rapture will come and a series of formidable biblical events on Earth will lead up to the return of Messiah.
This raises a question about what is the Gospel and what might you decide now before the end of this age arrives.
For more information about the Gospel and an important decision that is possible for you to consider, visit the Convergence area of the WindowView.
The window's TimeLine serves as the 'backbone' for the window.
Events along time define the direction humanity is headed toward.
Each window area offers a separate 'key scenario' that when combined define the window's 'big picture.'
Visit the Change, Science, Harmony and Convergence areas to see the key scenarios and gather multiple perspectives that support the broader window view.
Above are two menu options concerning the timeline. The 'Overview' is a plain language explanation for the TimeLine Area. For the deeper implications to this area's revealing scenario, we have provided a 'Thesis' page.
The TimeLine is unique in that "News,""NoteBook," "Signs of the Times" and "Storm Warning" articles are linked to the TimeLine.
Finally, each WindowView area has a series of articles that present unique perspectives—each adding supporting information to the broader view. Increasingly, the data and growing evidence, when viewed objectively, are saying life on Earth is not by chance, change events and documented chronologies all fit one overarching biblical scenario that many have denied or discounted. Yet, the evidence is compelling and begs a serious look. The window looks to a horizon and all 'sight lines' compose what is to be seen ... on the horizon is our future.
